We are glad to announce that Katelyn Corrigan, Kieran Leonard and Paul McClure are joining our teacher team for the first time! Also, Eamon Murray returns in 2024, after taking a break in the last few years.

We will have two fantastic concerts this year. One concert sees the return of Siobhán O’Donnell, who has been part of Craiceann as tutor for many years and will feature the Ox Mountain Quartet. The other concert features O’Gorman, Mannion, Clancy & Gough. Joe Mannion, well known to the Craiceann family through his tippermaking stall and his outstanding accordion performances during the teachers recitals will join forces with Ellen O’Gorman, bodhrán legend Donnchadh Gough and Donal Clancy!

The workshops/lectures which take place during the day between classes will be given by Micheál Ó hAlmhain himself, Andy Kruspe, who will reflect on the “Latest Developments in Bodhrán Techniques” and one workshop will feature musician, author and speaker Fintan Vallely who will tell the “Story of the Irish Bodhrán”.

Bodhrán maker Christian Hedwitschak will bring a selection of drums and he will also be available during the week. He will be working in his workshop during the week and will be available for chats and bodhrán talk.
